It’s official! TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) is Smart Communications’ newest endorser.
The telco announced the collaboration on July 27. The fourth-generation Kpop act will be the faces of the Build Your Own Giga campaign. The campaign promises prepaid subscribers flexibility in their Giga promos.
The group is composed of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai. TOMORROW X TOGETHER debuted on March 4, 2019, under Big Hit Music (formerly Big Hit Entertainment). Yes, the same agency that global superstars and fellow Smart ambassador BTS belongs to.
They won several accolades including Rookie of the Year at the Golden Disc Awards and Melon Music Awards. “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” debuted fifth on the Billboard 200 and remains on the chart today for its seventh consecutive week.
Their track “Magic” appeared in the Billboard Pop Airplay chart in July. It made them one of the five K-pop acts to appear on the chart together with BTS.
This Super K article describes “Magic” as the “first all-English single [that] cuts through all the angst with a sugary rush of energy. With the makings of a classic pop track, the boys excitedly ask an imaginary crowd, ‘Clap your hands, if you’ve got a broken heart, just take a chance.’”
Smart’s full campaign will be unveiled next month.
