JYP Entertainment made a bulletin announcement on the health of Stray Kids members Han and Seungmin on March 11. The statement was posted a couple hours after the Kpop group arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport for their “Maniac” Tour in Manila.
It reads:
“Hello, this is JYPE.
Firstly, we apologize for causing concern at a time when we are approaching the Stray Kids 2nd World Tour “Maniac” in Manila show. We would like to make an announcement regarding Stray Kids members Han and Seungmin’s health conditions.”
Fans worried about the two as they were seen hobbling during the live stream of their airport departure for Manila. JYPE stated that they were suffering from enteritis or stomach pain. They were also tested for COVID-19 but results came out negative.
“Since 3/10 (Friday) during the day, Han and Seungmin have been exhibiting symptoms of enteritis. Before leaving for the Philippines, the two visited a hospital for treatment and received prescriptions. The two also conducted COVID-19 rapid antigen tests and received negative results.
“On the day of it, it was decided that Suengmin would experience difficulty with fast-paced walking within the airport, thus ending up using a wheelchair. We inform you that there are no other symptoms other than a lack of energy due to enteritis symptoms.
“JYPE will continue to place the artist’s health as the highest priority for all future schedules and will provide everything we can to support the artists’ swift recovery.
“Thank you.”
In a video posted by Twitter user @baekhyunnie28, Han appeared to be walking at a normal pace when they arrived in Manila.
However, Seungmin still needed some assistance in walking. Stray Kids members Lee Know and I.N. were seen walking behind him.
Hopefully, both will recover after a few hours of rest. We wish Seungmin and Han a speedy recovery.
