Gear up, Midzys! The ever-vibrant and powerhouse girl group Itzy is about to set our 2024 on fire with their highly anticipated album, “Born To Be,” under JYP Entertainment.
Itzy’s new album is set to release on Jan. 8 and will feature 10 tracks which also includes special individual tracks from Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna. As JYP Entertainment announced the new album along with the 2024 world tour teaser of the girl group on Dec. 4, they also said that this will be the start of the new era for the quintet.
What We Know So Far About Itzy’s New Album
The announcement video, schedule, and the track list for their upcoming comeback are posted across Itzy’s official social media accounts.
Aside from Lia’s previously released song as heartfelt gift for Midzys titled “Blossom,” the titles of the other members’ individual tracks are Yeji’s “Crown On My Head,” Ryujin’s “Run Away,” Chaeryeong’s “Mine,” and Yuna’s “Yet, but.”
Unfortunately, Lia won’t be partaking in Itzy’s activities and upcoming world tour next year for she’s taken a hiatus since Sept. 18 because of health concerns.
Itzy will slowly unveil the group concept photos and clips for their upcoming album starting on Dec. 11. The individual teasers for members Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna are set to release on Dec. 12- 5 while the music videos for each solo track will be out on Dec. 20, 22, 25, and 27.
Additionally, a concept photo and music video teaser for “Mr. Vampire,” their pre-release track, will also be released before its launch on January 2, 2024. Aside from each member’s solo songs, the other tracks have also left the community buzzing as Maria Marcus and Tobias Naslund, who previously worked with Red Velvet, have collaborated with some songs.
Known as the beacon of self-love and empowerment, the Midzys absolutely cannot wait for their highly awaited album and world tour. The promise of their ‘new era’ also excited the fans worldwide. Midzys, be sure to polish your light rings and put on your favorite Itzy merch, we’re in for a wild ride!
The group will come to Manila for the 2023 Asia Artist Awards on Dec. 14. The event is promoted by Pulp Live World, Tonz Entertainment and Star News Korea. It is powered locally by Metrobank and Smart.
