SEOUL–Rising global K-pop powerhouse ENHYPEN will make their grand return to the K-pop scene with a new album set to release on Nov. 17.
“ORANGE BLOOD” is the band’s fifth mini album, and will be released at 1 p.m. Korean Standard Time on Nov. 17, Friday.
The band is back to their orange-themed aesthetic once again, but now, in a completely different mood. “ORANGE BLOOD” will follow the mystical theme of their previous release, “DARK BLOOD.”
In the band’s latest trailer, an eerie solar eclipse is shown, followed by an ominous message: “You and I are connected through blood.” Flashes of film images follow, capturing the curiosities of ENGENEs (their fandom) all over the world.
ENHYPEN’s fate
Jungwon, Heeseung, Jake, Jay, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki are currently on the second leg of their “Fate” world tour, meeting fans in the United States. The band marked their stadium debut at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles on Oct. 6. The boys are set to play Newark and Chicago in the upcoming weeks.
ENHYPEN has always been known as storytellers, with fantastical narratives captured in their music. The “Blood” series is part of HYBE’s original story, the webtoon, “Dark Moon: The Blood Altar.” The band even launched a collaboration with Lotte World, bringing “Dark Moon” to life in one of the world’s most famous indoor theme parks.
Lotte World, located in the heart of Seoul, converted their “Magic Island” into a mystic vampire land. Theme park enjoyers can get the complete ENHYPEN and “Dark Moon” experience with Decelis school uniforms, vampire-themed snacks, photo spots in the iconic Lotte World castle, interactive content, and a serene moon-themed ride in the park’s man-made lake.
“Orange Blood” will mark another chapter in ENHYPEN’s journey, as they promise to offer various elements for fans who have been eagerly awaiting their comeback. Preorders are now open with more information on the band’s Weverse site.
