Aespa goes retro for their “Armageddon” album.
The First Album ‘Armageddon’
K-pop girl group sensation Aespa has just released their much-awaited first full-length album “Armageddon” on May 27. And, they make their first special by selling not just a CD, but a player for it, too.
No, really. Their CD player version will be able to play CDs. The album was described as a ‘reward’ for fans who anticipated the girls’ first album.
The “Armageddon” album includes ten songs, as revealed through Aespa’s visual highlight medley, including title tracks “Supernova” and “Armageddon.”
‘Armageddon’ CD Player
The CD player version includes a CD player marked with aespa’s logo, as well as a large emblem of the album. Inside, it also has five types of signed photocards, lyric paper, and 10 types of stickers inspired by the highlight medley of “Armageddon.”
The pre-orders for the much-anticipated “Armageddon” CD player version began on May 24 and was sold-out on the afternoon of the same day. The pre-order sales were sold at around Php 6,200 (in Korea). The official release will be on July 19.

Adding to the sweet treat for the fans, the album is also available in two other versions: authentic and zine. The authentic version comes with a photo book, four types of postcards, one folded poster, one group photocard, and one out of four random photocards.

‘Superbeings’ of Supernova

Since its release, the music video has garnered 2.2 million views on YouTube and 23 million streams on Spotify. It tops real-time and daily charts, such as Melon, Genie, Flo, and Bug. Recently, on May 23, it has also earned its first win on M Countdown.
