Ji Chang-wook is finally coming to Manila

South Korean actor Ji Chang-wook will hold a fan meeting on Nov. 6.   We will let this announcement sink in first.  We waited for three years, one month and four days for this announcement.

Glorious Entertainment made the announcement on Sept. 13 on their Instagram account.

“Hello, this is Glorious Entertainment.

Thank you to the fans for sending a lot of love and support to Ji Chang wook.

To return the love, Ji Chang-wook Fan Meeting Tour <Reach You> will be held.

Starting with Korea in October 2022, it will be held in the Philippines and Indonesia.

And there will be a second announcement about the area where the fan meeting will be held in 2023.”

Ji Chang-wook fanmeet

Ji Chang-wook’s fan meeting will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena. Tickets will be made available through SM Tickets.  It also announces that Bench will be sponsoring the event.

The Lifestyle brand named him as one of their ambassadors on August 2, 2019.  Fans were already looking forward to the brand to bring him to the country. However, the planned fanmeet was postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdowns.

There were no events to replace the expected meeting, not even an online one.  That is until Suyen Corp chair Ben Chan dropped a major hint on the actor’s birthday on July 5.  On his Instagram post, the businessman shared his photo with the actor when he met with him three years ago.

He captioned the post as “Happy Birthday Ji Chang-wook! One of the Korean stars I met. He has remained grounded considering his fame and success. See you soon.”

Bench made an announcement on their social media account about the fanmeet. They will release details on how to purchase tickets.

Ji Chang-wook is the star of the ongoing series “If You Wish Upon Me.” Some of his memorable dramas include “Empress Ki,” “Healer,” “The K2,” “Melting Me Softly,” “Backstreet Rookie,” “Lovestruck in the City” and the “The Sound of Magic.”
