South Korean actor Lee Do-hyun is known for his acting talent. He made us fall in love with him in dramas such as “18 Again” and “Youth of May”. We are rooting for his comeback in “Sweet Home”.
But Lee Do-hyun may have revealed his secret on why he’s such a talented actor. At the press conference for the Netflix Original “The Glory”, he shared that he practices with his pet Ga-eul.
Presscon host Park Kyung-lim asked Lee Do-hyun about his acting partner at home. The actor straightened his back and worriedly moved his eyes to the side to look at “The Glory” lead Song Hye-kyo.
“Sometimes because I live on my own,” he said. He fully turned to Song Hye-kyo in embarrassment to apologize.
“I’m sorry, Hye-kyo! I’m sorry about that!” he told the actress. The actress was giggling next to him. She made hand signals to tell him not to worry and that it is not much of a big deal.

Irreplaceable
Lee Do-hyun continued to explain, “I have to rehearse at home. Song Hye-kyo is irreplaceable. I could not have anyone stand in for Hye-kyo. So I have to turn to my pet.”
He apologized again to his co-star before he bent over and buried his face with his hands in embarrassment.
Song Hye-kyo saves him from further discomfort. She said, “No, Ga-eul is the cutest!”
Do-hyun was praised for always practicing at home with Moon Dong-eun in mind. Dong-eun is the character Hye-kyo plays in the series.
Ga-eul makes a constant appearance in Lee Do-hyun’s Instagram. They make an absolutely pretty pair. Ga-eul in Korean means Autumn.

“The Glory” is a 16-episode series. The first part with eight episodes will drop on Dec. 30, while the remaining episodes will premiere on March 2023. It is directed by Ahn Gil-ho and written by Kim Eun-sook.
