Stray Kids wins Best Kpop in 2023 Video Music Awards

They’ve been performing their song “Astronaut” in their Dome Tour in Japan, and now Stray Kids will bring home the Moonman as they win Best K-pop.  They win the award for their song “S-Class” from their record-breaking third studio album “5-Star”.

The group composed of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N

They came up onstage surprised that they won the award at the 2023 Video Music Awards (VMA).

Stray Kids made their maknae (youngest) I.N hold the trophy as Bang Chan started giving the speech.

“Hello we are Stray Kids. First of all we thank the VMAs for inviting us. We’ve been making our music since the start of our career but to receive this award really means a lot to us,” said Bang Chan. The leader of Stray Kids, usually so eloquent, passed the microphone to Felix.

Felix said, “We just want to thank your label JYP Division one. We want to thank Republic Records. And all we also want to thank your fans, our STAYS for being so supportive.  We have so much to show you guys. So please look forward to the future.”

They also made their debut performance at the VMA stage by performing “S-Class.”

Previous winners of the same award are BTS with “Boy With Luv” (2019), “On” (2020). “Butter” (2021), and Blackpink‘s Lisa for “Lalisa” (2022).
