Here are some reminders to make your “Born Pink” concert experience better on March 25-26. The much awaited Blackpink concert is expected to draw Blinks to Philippine Arena.
Globe is on Filipino Blinks to follow sustainable practices during the event. To help BLINKS prepare for the Pink Carpet experience, Globe is reminding concert-goers to be mindful of their environment and one another while at the concert grounds.
The popular South Korean girl group’s advocacy as Climate Change Ambassadors and promoters of collective action aligns with Globe’s commitment to environment stewardship. They were appointed as Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) advocates by the UN Secretary-General and regularly call on world leaders to take action against climate change.
Here are some tips to follow their footsteps.

Buses to venue
Globe partnered with Global Electric Transport (GET) to offer 15 electric buses to shuttle concert-goers to and from the venue. The electric buses were pre-booked and is currently full. Those who pre-booked are reminded to please generate their passes before going to the pickup point.
Departure time from Ayala Vertis North is at 11 a.m., and after the concert, the buses will leave the Philippine Arena in Bulacan at 11 p.m.
Each vehicle will be accompanied by security personnel for safety, while safety officers and ready first-aid responders will be riding alongside the convoy.
Clean As You Go
Attendees are urged to dispose of waste properly in designated bins for biodegradable, non-biodegradable, and recyclable materials. Proper disposal bins will also be available at venue.
Go paperless
Blinks are advised to utilize GCash for transactions when purchasing food, beverages, and merchandise at the event venue. Globe will be providing free Wifi support at the venue, but it is still advisable to carry some cash, just in case.
JOIN THE HAPAG MOVEMENT AND SUPPORT COMMUNITIES
Globe’s sustainability strategy also reflects the company’s dedication to creating positive societal and environmental impact. An example of this is through the Hapag Movement, the company’s advocacy program that focuses on helping alleviate involuntary hunger through fundraising and digital volunteerism.
The Hapag Movement is a Globe-led community program that aims to alleviate involuntary hunger among 100,000 Filipino families through supplemental feeding and sustainable livelihood opportunities. The implementing partners include: Ayala Foundation Inc., Caritas Philippines, Tzu Chi Foundation, World Vision,
Blinks have the opportunity to support the program by donating their Globe Rewards points via the GlobeOne app, as well as participating in on-ground activities during the concert days, where they can donate a minimum of P20 via GCash.
