Actor Kim Soo-hyun donates 100 million won or around P4 million to prevent further spread of coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
Naver reports that the actor quietly made the donation through the Daegu Social Welfare Community Fund. The money will be to stop the prevention of the coronavirus. South Korea has confirmed 256 new coronavirus cases, thus increasing the total to 2,022 on Feb. 28. Daegu City is the epicenter of the outbreak in the country.
This is not the actor’s first charitable act. He donated 300 million won for the psychological treatment of the students of Danwon High School.
He starred in dramas such as “Dream High”, “Moon Embracing the Sun” and “My Love from the Star.” He has also appeared in cameos in dramas “Hotel del Luna” and “Crash Landing on You.” His upcoming drama, “Psycho but It’s Okay” is set to come out this year.
