Pasig City mayor Vico Sotto had an online forum with the Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines (FOCAP) on Zoom on April 21. Journalists asked the mayor insightful questions about how he’s been handling the pandemic at the LGU level. But the hour-long forum, which was also streamed on FOCAP’s Facebook Live, went viral for another reason: someone’s thirst trap Zoom background interrupted the broadcast and it was hilarious.
People couldn’t get over his reaction.
But we think it’s impressive that Mayor Vico managed to recover from the surprise of seeing a practically naked man on his screen and finish answering the question about the possibility of a total lockdown in Pasig.
We mean, wouldn’t you be distracted?
Where were we? Oh right.
So naturally, Twitter went into #ProtectVico mode and TBI (Twitter Bureau of Investigation, duh) tried to figure out who was to blame for getting the Mayor flustered.
They zoomed in on the Zoom clip and they found her name.
And soon, Ann Gregorio was trending on Twitter.
