Wanna One members, no matter what they do, will always carry the name of the group with them.
Wanna One was formed through the second season of the survival reality show “Produce 101.” It saw the rise of Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, Lee Dae-hwi, Kim Jae-hwan, Ong Seong-wu, Park Woo-jin, Lai Guan-lin, Yoon Ji-sung, Hwang Min-hyun, Bae Jin-young and Ha Sung-woon.
The group’s center, Kang Daniel, is now the CEO of his own agency Konnect Entertainment. Ji-hoon is doing musicals. Dae-hwi and Woo-jin are part of the K-pop group AB6IX. Seong-wu is the male lead of the drama titled “At Eighteen.” Guan-lin has created a unit with Pentagon’s Wooseok. Ji-sung and Jin-young both have albums of their own while Min-hyun is back with NU’EST.
Sung-woon is the main vocalist of his original group Hotshot. He is also promoting as a solo artist and recently launched his album “My Moment” on Feb. 28.
His fans have been looking forward to some of his interactions with other popular idols. Sung-woon is known as a close friend to BTS’ Jimin, VIXX’s Ravi, EXO’s Kai and SHINee’s Taemin. Sung-woon, Ravi, Kai and Taemin were spotted in Cebu in April.
Jae-hwan also released his mini album in May. Jae-hwan’s “Another” peaked at no. 2 at Gaon Music Charts.
Sung-woon and Jae-hwan will also reunite in Manila with the K-pop girl group Momoland. They will be part of “Good Friends in Manila” on Oct. 5 at Smart Araneta Coliseum and produced by DNM Entertainment.
