Bobby, member of the Kpop act iKON, shared an emotional message before they performed their encore at the ‘Kpop Masterz 2 Ep. 2 in Manila.’
“What if you guys have forgotten about us?” he asked. The crowd protested at this statement but he went on. “As soon as our plane (arrived) at the airport, we felt this warm, dampy air that welcomed us. We were worried about it. What if you guys don’t come? But I was worried over nothing. Because of you guys, we feel so blessed. Thank you so much for coming out tonight. We missed you so much!”
Their last concert was in 2018. It was almost four years ago. Fans do not count their 2019 visit as it was for a private launching event.
This is why we understand the anxiety of the group. But their fans called the iKONICs didn’t disappoint them. They came with their Konbats (iKON lightsticks) and ready for the”Kpop Masterz 2” on Sept. 23 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The show was presented by Pulp Live World. The group iKON were the last to perform.
They opened strong with “Sinosijak”, and followed it with “Rhythm Ta”. They had a short ment or a conversation with “Showtime” host Ryan Bang. Bobby, Jay, June, Song, DK and Chan introduced themselves to the crowd.

Bang interviewed them for the things they’ve done recently. Chan said that he was able to try halo-halo with his fellow iKON members while he was able to cook turon in his YouTube video.
“Turon was so nice, if given the chance I would like to try those food here,” he said.
Runway
DK talked about his trip to New York where he opened as a runway model for a fashion show. However, he turned the conversation back to the country by saying, ““Of course, New York was nice but I am in Manila now and it feels better.”
Song took this opportunity to tease DK and show the crowd his walk. DK complied and turned the stage into a runway. He playfully ended his walk with a 360 turn. Other members followed suit, ending with June swimming in the air.
DK would be the “sample” favorite as he showed how he said “hi” to himself every morning and play tennis with friends every week.
After the first ment, they followed it with a performance of “Bling Bling”. They would play a game called Complete the Sentence with Ryan Bang. The comical response of the members made it memorable. The host teased Song about his obsession with shaving.
The stoic June would give them nonsensical answers that made the fans laugh. Without any reaction, he declared that he always thinks, sleeps every morning (he wakes up late) and feel lazy every week.
In contrast, Jay said that he feels sexy every morning and showed the audience what sexy feels like. Jay would be the moodmaker of the night. He would react to the answers of his members.
Freedom
Chan answered that he thinks of iKONICs every morning. He answered it with a cheek heart.
Song revealed that he likes to ride the bicycle once a week at Han River. Which you might want to watch out for the next time you’re in Seoul.
IKON proceeded to perform their 2018 hit song “Love Scenario”. Bobby said that “Freedom” was their last song. They already bid their farewell and left the stage. The crowd wouldn’t let them as they chanted, “Encore, Encore”.
They returned to sing “But You” with the crowd. It was the theme of the night as the audience kept singing the song over and over even when it had ended.
ATEEZ

We called them on Twitter as the future of K-pop. It’s true. They are, after all, a fourth-generation K-pop act that debuted in 2018. The group is composed of Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho.
They were the second act to perform.“Guerilla” was their opening song for their set. The ATINYs, the ATEEZ fandom, were on their feet as they also performed the songs “Pirate King”, “Say My Name”, “Wave” and “The Real.”
“It’s my first time in the Philippines. I am so happy that I am bringing home so many happy memories. Let’s enjoy the show until the end,” said Jongho.
Leader or captain (based on their concept) Hongjoong said that he was happy to be in the country and they hope to see the fans in their future events. San said that he has been to the country before with his father.
Hongjoong and Jongho were paired in sepak takraw. They were challenged to hit the ball with their foot at least 20 times. Mingi and Yunho teamed up to do archery, but only after making several elephant turns.
The remaining members of Ateez had to do a relay game wherein they had to guess the word “pirate.” They were able to complete all the missions that were set before them, earning them signed balls for their fans.
Youngjae
The first performer of the night was Youngjae. The GOT7 member opened the show with “Vibin”and “Sugar.” He followed it with “Tasty” and “Focus.”
member is the fourth member of GOT7 to hold an event as a solo artist in the Philippines. BamBam, Jackson Wang, and Yugyeom came to the country before him. Filipino Ahgases, GOT7 fandom, have been calling the series of events as “tingi”.

The audience sang the birthday song twice for him, first in English, followed by Korean. Youngjae just celebrated his birthday on Sept. 17. He was all smiles as he listened to the fans sing the song for hi,.
Ryan Bang asked him a series of questions, including asking what is included in his GOT7 playlist. The three songs included in the list are “Girls Girls Girls”, “NANANA” and “Never Ever”.
Youngjae said that he has over 30 songs at home, all waiting to be released. He is currently working on a mini album.
“It can be a bit slow, but if you just wait for me here, I will be here,” he said when asked when he will be back.
He described his final song “Crema” as very chill. It’s a song that needs to be enjoyed. The crowd did enjoy his performance.
