Christmas is coming ASAP for K-pop fans as STAYC is about to head to the country. Their girl group’s first ever overseas fan meeting on Dec. 3 at FYM Hall, EVM Convention Center in Quezon City.
They are set to perform their best hits live and interact with SWITHs (fandom name) through fan signs, hi-touch sessions and photo ops. SWITHs can enjoy these fan benefits depending on their ticket tier. Of course, they would also not miss out on hearing the group’s iconic and catchy “STAYC girls, it’s going down!” live.
STAYC is a six-member girl group managed by High Up Entertainment and was formerly known as High Up Girls. They are composed of members Sumin, Isa, J, Yoon, Sieun and Seeun, They debuted on Nov. 12, 2020 with the single album “Star to a Young Culture.” Fast fact: this happens to be the meaning of their group name.
The album has peaked at the no. 6 spot on the Gaon Album Chart. Their debut lead track “So Bad” received a nomination for New Artist of the Year (Digital) at the Gaon Chart Music Awards. “So Bad” currently has more than 40 million streams on Spotify.
Million views
Their other hit songs include “ASAP” and “RUN2U. ” Both of which have more than 60 and 80 million Spotify streams respectively. This 2022, STAYC has released their EPs
“Young-Luv.com” and “We Need Love.” Both albums have earned them platinum certifications from the Gaon Circle Chart for selling more than 250,000 copies of each album.
STAYC have recently made their Japanese debut with the Nov. 23 release “Poppy.”
The fan meeting is under event promoter Neuwave Events and Productions, and tickets can be purchased at SMTickets.com. As of writing, remaining tickets available on the website are of PATRON tier.
