“Lovestruck in the City” filming halted due to COVID-19 scare

The filming for the drama “Lovestruck in the City”  has been halted due to the COVID-19 scare. Soompi reported that one of the background actors of the drama tested positive for the virus.

Contact tracing is being conducted but lead stars Ji Chang-wook and Kim Ji-won both tested negative.  No word yet on whether the postponement of the show has affected the premiere date of the drama.

Kakao TV announced earlier this week that the drama will begin on Dec. 8.  Netflix is to stream the show worldwide two hours after Kakao TV.  But in the December newsletter received by Super K this morning, “Lovestruck in the City” still has “coming soon”  under its title while the Netflix Original “Sweet Home” has a release date of Dec. 18.
