The tandem of Lee Seung-gi and Netflix began last year. And it does not seem to end anytime soon.

Min-young Kim, Netflix vice president for Korean Content, said that “Twogether” is something that fans of the actor should look forward to.  Kim said that the show is still in production.  There is no exact release date but it’s part of Netflix’s 2020 slate.

“Twogether” is the second Korean variety show on Netflix. “Busted” was the first. Interestingly, Lee was also part of the second season of the show.

“‘Twogether’ is about two men who don’t speak each other’s language going on a trip together,” Kim said to Super K during a video conference.

Those two men are Lee Seung-gi and Jasper Liu.  Liu is a popular Taiwanese actor and model. He is the male lead in the romcom series, “Triad Princess”.

Liu posted a photo with Lee and Yoo Yoon-seok (“Dr. Romantic,” “Mr. Sunshine,” “Hospital Playlist”) about meeting Lee Seung-gi on Aug. 19 last year.  He captioned it with “nice to meet you my friends.”

He teased about the bromance he and Lee will be sharing on the show.  He asked his fans if he and Lee look good together in a post on September.

The two shares the pride in their budding bromance.  Lee posted almost about the same sentiments on the same month.

In the photo released by Netflix, it’s confirmed that the two visited the  Prambanan Temple Complex in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Lee returned to Korea after shooting in Indonesia to do press rounds for his drama “Vagabond.”

But fans are keeping a good eye on where else they’ve been.

They’ve been spotted in Nepal.

And at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Thailand.

Super K was also curious about another Lee Seung-gi project. “Vagabond” ended in a cliffhanger that screamed season 2.  We wanted to know where Netflix stands on the show.  So we asked Kim on its possibility.

“Vagabond has been a successful show for us and our audiences love “Vagabond”. So we would love to actually look at the opportunity of having a subsequent season but nothing has been confirmed yet. But we are in discussions with our partner,” she said.

They. Are. Discussing. The. Possibility. Of. Second. Season. That’s all we needed to hear.
