They say the only way to a fan’s heart is through knowing their own language, and Seon Ho perfectly aced this through the newest teaser of his film, “The Childe,” where he plays the role of Marco, a Filipino-Korean boxer who travels back to South Korea in search of his estranged father.

The one-minute trailer shows Seon-ho saying, “Ngumiti ka naman d’yan, ako’ng bahala sa’yo,” and ends it with a heart-fluttering wink. Aside from this trailer, Seon-ho also made the effort to learn some Filipino phrases he could say during his fan meeting in the Philippines. Nothing would ever top the feeling when we all heard him say, “Mahal kita.”
