Lee Dong-hwi (born July 22, 2023) is a South Korean actor and singer. He’s familiar to drama fans for supporting roles in television series like ‘Reply 1988‘. He starred in other films including ‘The Beauty Inside’ (2015), ‘The Handmaiden’ (2016), and ‘Extreme Job’ (2019).
In 2013, Dong-hwi debuted in minor roles. He starred in the film “Run to the South” followed by the romantic comedy “Queen of the Night” in the same year. He made his first K-drama appearance in the action-packed series “Gunman in Joseon” as Han Jung-hoon.
The 37-year-old actor is dating the Korean model and actress, Jung Ho-yeon of the “Squid Game” fame. They were couples since 2015.
With his exceptional acting skills, Lee Dong-hwi earned him for the various roles that he played.
He bagged the Popular Star Award at the 6th Korea Top Star Awards for the film “The Bros.”
Lee Dong-hwi just keep on achieving through the years as he just recently won the Best Supporting Actor award at the second Blue Dragon Series Awards for television series “Big Bet.”
His is set to join the cast of “The Roundup: Punishment,” a fourth film in Korea’s smash hit “Outlaw” action franchise.
