Only three artists were part of the official lineup of Kpop Masterz but Sandara Park didn’t want to disappoint the Blackjacks (2NE1) fandom in the crowd so she performed one song. This is one of the reasons the night became memorable.
Kpop Masterz featured the Korean boy group Treasure and GOT7 members BamBam and Jackson Wang. It was held at MOA Arena on July 29. The show was organized by Pulp.
Treasure
The order of performances is always based on seniority or ages so Treasure was first to perform. They came out strong with their first song “Jikjin,” setting the tone for the night. They followed it with their song, “I love you.”
Treasure is made up of 12 members namely Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Jeongwoo and Junghwan. Mashiho and Yedam are currently on a break and couldn’t come with them.
Treasure also performed the songs “My Treasure,” “MMM,” “Boy” and “Darari.” Read it here.
BamBam
GOT7’s BamBam was next to to perform in Kpop Masterz in Manila. He courted his fans days before he appeared in a concert in Pasay City. His excitement was felt in the way he interacted with them on Twitter during his stay.
He even retweeted Super’s post about his fans waiting for him at Ayala Mall Manila Bay since morning. The artist also posted about the one thing that he fell in love with in the country: daing na bangus (milkfish).
He performed the songs “Wheels Up” featuring Mayzin, “Ride or Die,” and “Ribbon.” BamBam also made do with his promise to perform “Ngiti” by Ronnie Liang. For the dance break, he beautifully performed “Who Are You” featuring Red Velvet’s Seulgi. Read it here.
Sandara Park
Sandara Park proved that she is the best atih ever. She came to the Philippines to show support to the performers of Kpop Masterz in Manila. Sandara and BamBam are currently in the same agency Abyss company.
She performed the 2NE1 hit “I Don’t Care” to the delight and suprise of the crowd.
Jackson Wang
One of, if not, the sexiest idols alive came in last. Jackson Wang gave an explosive performance from the moment he came onstage until he closed the show. He mostly performed songs from his upcoming album “Magic Man.”
The songs he performed are “Cruel,” “Blow,” “Magic Man,” “Drive it Like You Stole It,” “Blue” and “100 Days.” Read it here.
