It’s confirmed! Hwang In-youp, who visited the Philippines in August, will be returning for his first fan meeting!
The rising star is expected to serenade and charm fans on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. at New Frontier Theater. His youthful appearance, confidence, and icy yet warm personality, amid his bad boy persona, will undoubtedly make the audience kilig. Lucky fans will also get the chance to get hold of his autograph through the fan meet.

Ticket sales open on Aug. 22, at 10 am at all ticketnet outlets and tickenet.com.ph. The “Hwang In-youp: 1st Fan Meeting in Manila” is presented by Keyeast, Applewood and Ovation Productions.
Career History
Hwang In-youp started as a runway model in 2017. In 2018, he landed a lead role in the web drama “Why” by Playlist Studio. His acting career continuously grew since then. He quickly rose to greater fame in late 2020 thanks to his most popular role yet as Han Seo-joon, the second lead of the drama adaptation of a popular webtoon, “True Beauty.” His acting streak continues as he plays a trending young actor in Netflix’s new series, “The Sound of Music” followed by the drama “Why Her” which recently concluded its run on July 23.
Does Hwang In-youp have Filipino roots?
Hwang In-youp may not be a Filipino by blood but he spent a good part of his youth studying in the Philippines. Fun fact: In-yoop studied at Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School in Davao and even once won the Mr. Intrams title in his school’s beauty pageant. He then studied Fashion Design at the Philippine Women’s College in Davao. Artsy through and through! No wonder he has that Filipino glow in him!
