Kim Myung-soo, known as L from Infinite, continues to captivate fans with his diverse talents.
This year, fans have even more reason to celebrate with the recent release of his solo EP, 24/7, an upcoming drama, and a fan meeting in Manila.
Kim will soon play the role of a detective in the webtoon-based drama “Perfect Family.” Known for his versatile acting skills, he began his journey with notable supporting roles in classic K-dramas that left a mark on the hearts of K-drama fans.
“Master’s Sun” (2013): Young Master
Kim Myung-soo took on the role of the young version of So Ji-sub’s character, appearing in flashback scenes that were crucial for developing the plot of this beloved fantasy romance drama. He effectively portrayed the emotions of the character’s past, which contributed to the character’s current skeptical and selfish nature.
“Cunning Single Lady” (2014): Charming Secretary
In this romantic comedy, Kim plays Gil Yo-han, the charming secretary of the male lead character Cha Jung-woo, portrayed by Joo Sang-wook. His role as a straightforward friend and efficient secretary added a touch of youthful energy and humor to the drama, showcasing his ability to shine even in supporting roles.
‘My Lovely Girl’ (2014): Popular Idol
Kim plays Si-woo, a popular idol who initially seems arrogant but later develops feelings for an aspiring songwriter played by Krystal Jung. The incredible chemistry between the two, who are both idols in real life, made this romantic drama particularly memorable.
Adding to his impressive resume, Kim released his first-ever solo EP, 24/7, on August 5. This EP features six tracks, including the title track, “How Can I not Love You?”
