There’s a gift for everyone on your list at The Body Shop

2020 has been a year of challenges and our months in lockdown gave us a lot of opportunities for reflection. Now that Christmas is coming, we’re excited to spread cheer to our loved ones. We want to do it by being conscious gift-givers and thinking not just about what we’re buying but where we’re buying our presents. We want to purchase from brands whose values are aligned with ours and those of our loved ones’, we want to buy from companies who care about their impact on the world.

One such brand is The Body Shop. Anita Roddick founded the brand in Brighton in 1976 with the belief that business could be a force for good. The Body Shop has never been just a beauty company, it has spent the past 40 years campaigning for equality and fighting for change. It has always used ethically sourced and naturally-based ingredients and has created products that celebrate every body type (because, yes, all bodies are beautiful).

Its products are never tested on animals, it is vegetarian and vegan friendly, it works fairly with farmers and suppliers, it empowers women through its Community Fair Trade and it has always been dedicated to sustainability. According to The Body Shop, “We want to cause minimal harm to the planet when we make our products.”

This Christmas, The Body Shop has made gifting even greener, thanks to their cleverly designed packaging. In creating this year’s holiday collection, they’ve reduced their packaging material by over 80 tonnes, cutting over 40 tonnes of paper and over 7 tonnes of plastic compared to their 2019 collection.

The Body Shop’s Christmas collection features unexpected gifts for every beautiful body this Christmas—yes, that means you’ll find something for everyone on your list.

The holiday lineup is a celebration of love and little acts of kindness. The packaging shows different characters and modern families in cozy Brighton homes—a nod to The Body Shop’s roots. Like you and me, they believe in coming together to fight for gender justice and for the environment. They’re embracing togetherness to push for a fairer, more beautiful world. These are more than just gifts—they’re a reminder of the strength of our collective power to care.

And here’s another beautiful thing: for every purchase you make, every gift you buy from November 1 to December 31, The Body Shop will make a donation to support organizations giving safety, security and a home to those who need it most during this time of crisis.

Here are our favorite picks from The Body Shop’s holiday collection:

Festive Berry Shower Gel, P500. This fruity and gloriously tangy scent is back to give your loved ones all the festive feels. The Festive Berry Shower Gel features cranberry seed oil from North America and it smells so good that it makes every shower an absolute treat.

Christmassy Hand Cream Trio, P999. With all the hand-washing and hand-sanitizing we’ve had to do this year, everyone’s hands need some extra-care and you can give it to them in the form of this hand cream trio: three tubes of hand cream in three delightful variants—Warm Vanilla (with vanilla extract from Madagascar), Festive Berry and Winter Jasmine (with jasmine extract from India).

Lather & Smooth Snow Globe Gift Dome, P1495. The packaging alone makes for a great gift—it’s a glorious tin snow globe that can be used as a coin bank. And hiding inside are plenty of goodies: Strawberry Softening Body Butter, Strawberry Shower Gel, Banana Truly Nourishing Shampoo, Banana Truly Nourishing Conditioner and Strawberry Lip Butter. It’s already sold out on the UK website and we’re not surprised. It’s such a lovely Christmas gift.

Warm Vanilla Body Yogurt, P895. This popular holiday scent is back by popular demand. Let your loved one moisturize their skin with this addictively sweet and creamy body yogurt that has notes of coconut, toffee and of course, warm vanilla. This lightweight body moisturizer is made with vanilla extract from Madagascar, handcrafted Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana and Community Fair Trade organic almond milk from Spain.

Nourishing Shea Little Gift Box, P1595. Do youhave someone on your list who complains about dry skin? The answer comes in this little gift box which includes Shea Shower Cream, Shea Body Butter, Shea Hand Cream, Shea Soap and mini bath lily (loofah) made with recycled plastic. The box is super pretty too—you’ll want to keep it and use it.
