Two handsome devils are better than one. Or is it?
Season 5 of “Lucifer” streams on Netflix starting Aug. 21. The dropped trailer blesses us with not just one but two Tom Ellises. ]One might think that Satan found a way to multiply himself.
There’s a Lucifer who rules Hell while the other lives the life he wants in Los Angeles. But no, that’s not what happened.
It turned out that it’s Lucifer’s twin brother, Michael. Yes, the very same archangel who defeated him during his revolt against God.
Michael sees opportunity in the absence of his brother pretends to be him.
“I’m not going to break Lucifer’s life, I’m going to take it,” he says.
Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt) finds out who he really is after kicking his ass. Another surprise bomb is dropped in the trailer. She’s now dating Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She even tells her that they do not need Lucifer.
Oh, but fans of the show do.
