Because of the pandemic, Reddit user sloop_jb and his wife decided to celebrate it in Animal Crossing instead. He documented the festivities with a beautiful video.
It began with an invitation from Mari for Harold to visit her island.
“Wear a suit,” she wrote.
But she didn’t specify what kind and saw he showed up in a hotdog suit.
Luckily, Mari was prepared.
And soon, Harold was properly attired.
The rest of the video is a montage of the fun anniversary date the two had, set to the Beach Boys song “Wouldn’t It Be Nice.”
It’s the cutest thing ever and we’ve never felt more alone.
